Newbie

I have called this blog Newbie, because this website, and the way that I use it, is new to me. I wrote several hundred blogs on my old website. Initially we planned to move those over, but after realising how long that process takes, I decided I would repost a few of the old blogs when I had time.

For this post, I have been given a clear set of instructions to follow, but I have already fumbled on my first attempt. This is my second try, so hopefully I will actually get this one to go live. And from there I can post a few more.

Along with writing, another of my interests is photography, particularly nature, sunsets and beach shots. The photographs I will be using are all my own photos. Hopefully readers won't get too sick of repeated sunset photos or even ones like this one. We have a ponga growing outside our ranch slider on the deck and each October the new fronds arrive. With the

western sunsets in line with these, the fronds have become another popular photo target.
