I expected my previous book, The Miner and the Model, would be my last poetry publication, even telling my friends there would be no more.

Yet here we are with the fourth one in the series. The Meek Towee follows the same vein as the others—rhyming poems about my life on the farm, at the beach and elsewhere in New Zealand’s North Island. These poems depict the people, animals and experiences I had along the way. Some poems are funny, others reflective.
